[Resolved] Monthly Maintenance Wednesday January 4th 2017

Maintenance is starting now. During this maintenance logins will be disabled. Expected time is 2-4 hours. This is a monthly maintenance. So servers will also be offline intermittently. List of things being done is below.


All Sims will be restarted

All servers and services will be restarted

All system patches will be applied.

The world map will be cleaned and regenerated

Overdue sims will be shut down

Daily Region Backups over 1 month old will be removed.

Monthly Region backups over 6 months old will be removed



Work on the beta site is also ongoing and the beta grid will be brought up later this week for testing. The new registration system will be being tested. And we will be testing A modified version of opensim 0.9. Information on what is being tested and when will be posted ~1 week before testing is to begin.
